Ever since starting my poetry course as part of my creative writing classes at my university, I've been reading more poetry than I have in ages. I've picked up The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace (which actually won the title for Goodreads poetry book of the year!) and post-alfa by Finnish rapper Paperi T.

I really enjoyed reading these poetry collections. The themes in The Princess Saves Herself in This One really resonated with me, while I enjoyed the more comedic style of post-alfa. I'm also embracing poetry as a way of expressing myself. Let me know in the comments below if you have poetry suggestions for me, both collections as well as individual poems!
