Ever since the beginning, I loved the characters. Especially, the main character Hadashi, was my spirit animal throughout the novel. I absolutely adored the fact that Hadashi was handicapped, but didn't let that stop him. I enjoyed the adventure feel of the storyline, but felt that it could've been explored further. Even though the story was quite short, I became completely absorbed into the world. 

And the ending. That ending was something else. If someone would've asked me how I thought it would end, never in a million years would I have given the correct answer. It completely blew me away, and I didn't know I would need it before it happened.
