February Wrap Up

February is the shortest month of the year, so if you are having a miserable month, try to schedule it for February.
Lemony Snicket

This was another good reading month, since I spent a lot of time airplanes. My trip to Singapore allowed me to finish more books than I would have normally. This month I read 16 wonderful books.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7)

The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak

The Book Thief

This book is honestly worth all the attention it's getting, because it really just is that good.

Fat Vampire, by Adam Rex

Fat Vampire: A Never Coming of Age Story

This was a disappointing read, I'm sad to say. For some reason, I just didn't end up caring about what happened to any of the characters. This books only redeeming quality were its few and far between humorous moments.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson,  by John Green and David Levithan

Will Grayson, Will Grayson

I loved this book from start to finish! Definitely would recommend.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, by Jennifer E. Smith

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

This was a cute, quick, and easy read.

My Name is Rapunzel, by K.C. Hilton

My Name is Rapunzel

I read this modern retelling of Rapunzel for my book club and I really enjoyed it. Rapunzel loving online shopping? Rapunzel going to Starbucks with friends? YES please!

Eleanor & Park, by Rainbow Rowell

Eleanor & Park

Don't hate me now, but as I was reading this I noticed that I was enjoying their relationship more than I enjoyed them as characters, a type of unit (Eleanor & Park) vs. Eleanor and Park separately.

Ruby Red, by Kerstin Gier

Ruby Red (Ruby Red, #1)

Sapphire Blue, by Kerstin Gier

Sapphire Blue (Ruby Red, #2)

Emerald Green, by Kerstin Gier

Emerald Green (Ruby Red Trilogy, #3)

Wonder, by R.J. Palacio

Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card

Ender's Game

Now, this was a book that my dad made me read and I'm so glad he did. The story and the writing was so captivating and I simply couldn't put the book down. I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

This Song Will Save Your Life, by Leila Sales

This Song Will Save Your Life

I thought this book was okay, even though the description of self-harm seemed naïve throughout the novel.
